Position Title: Teacher Assistence 

Location: Hargeisa, Somaliland

TIME: SATURDAY TO WEDNESDAY

DEADLINE: FILLING ON ROLLING BASIS

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The teacher assistant will work closely with the lead teacher to support the educational and developmental needs of students with special needs. This position requires patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs

· Assist students with academics, social skills, and daily living tasks

· Help implement individualized education plans and behavioral interventions

· Collaborate with the lead teacher and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

· Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION

· Experience working with children with special needs

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Patience and empathy

· Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team

· Knowledge of special education practices and techniques
